Sludge Oil & Liquid Waste Oil Collection

Merchant vessels operating on modern global shipping lanes accumulate substantial volumes of heavy fuel oil sludge, fuel treatment centrifuge rejects, and oily residues in dedicated shipboard sludge tanks. Under IMO MARPOL Annex I regulations, discharging these residues at sea is strictly prohibited.
